Money's Worth

Listening to a "Weekend America" piece interviewing a mail carrier about what it is like to have a job that involves weekend work. -- Thinking about things that need to get done...
hmmm...
The agenda for the next Library Board Meeting should go out Monday because Tuesday is a holiday??
Work on getting the Library Board meeting materials integrated into the web site? To do that, a reasonable back file of old agendas, minutes, and reports will have to be converted into .html or .pdf format, and uploaded to the web site. A consistent file structure will have to be devised and documented. Maybe one of the L2NE Things will help.
Get the "We The People Bookshelf" grant application filed?? What are we going to do to meet the "public program" component??
Add another photo set to FLICKR?? L2NE has introduced us to several tools that should help us integrate FLICKR photo sets into our overall web presence. We have a backlog of image files from past programs that should be "published" somehow to extend their utility and stretch the "return on investment" of the work we did to generate the images. Is it easier to upload them into the DRUPAL file structure that generates our web site, or load them into FLICKR, and then write web pages linking to them?
How about another three or four hours whittling away at cataloging?? We have several boxes full of books purchased with funds from the Kilgore Memorial Library Foundation that need to be cataloged so people can use them.
