Kilgore Memorial Library has been adding images to a FLICKR(tm) account for nearly eight months. Most of the images in these blog posts are hosted there.

A FLICKR "pro" account costs $25.00 per year. That pays for access to statistics, and a much wider range of posting and hosting options.

The statistic are telling -- what are people looking at and why? Several of the images in the library's FLICKR account are included in wider groups, which draws attention to them.

Lately, the images related to Fred Niblo have gotten more attention. One can surmise the Academy Award season is prompting some of that interest, as Mr. Niblo was one of the founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
